MY EXPERIENCE
As a novice designer in the field of trading cards and external cover design for the game "Waxpmon," I found myself facing exciting challenges and valuable learning opportunities in this initial experience. In this role, the client provided me with pre-existing card artwork, and my responsibility was to design the card layout and external cover.
One of the primary challenges I encountered was dealing with precise client directives regarding the design. It was crucial for me to thoroughly understand the client's vision and ensure its precise execution to achieve full alignment with their requirements.
Additionally, it was of utmost importance to ensure that the card and cover designs harmonized with the other elements of the game while respecting the inspiration drawn from "Pokemon." This required striking a balance between maintaining the game's identity and introducing new elements through design.
Furthermore, the third challenge involved enhancing my skills in card and cover design and achieving intricate details in the best possible manner.
